Education

Happy Care works as a provider of NDIS services for individuals living with a disability. This includes assistance for individuals studying in schools or other education facilities. Schools and education facilities have their own obligations to support any students with disabilities. Happy Care provides additional support for individuals that goes beyond these schools' obligations. We aim to enhance a student's access to educational opportunities to better achieve their learning goals. Such basic needs as transportation to school, mobility while at school, possible access to catering, special use of computer facilities and other resources, can all be funded by HAPPY CARE through the NDIS scheme. Training for teachers can also be provided. We aim to make sure you have the same opportunities as the other students at your level. Students who wish to work part-time outside of school hours may also receive support and financial assistance.

Employment

Happy Care can provide additional support for disabled individuals that helps with their employment goals. This support is in addition to the support that the employer is already obliged to provide. In addition to financial support for transportation and special equipment related to your disability, we can provide advice and some training. This includes identifying your interests and abilities, and groundwork training in communication, team cooperation, resume-building/application processes, and understanding employer expectations. In both education and employment situations, we emphasise safety, quality, appropriate use of funds, flexibility, forward planning, and tailored support that works for the individual's needs.
