Group and centre-based activities

Happy Care works through the NDIS scheme to support group and centre-based activities for individuals living with a disability. Disabled individuals are at risk of social isolation, and at-home help will only partially compensate for this problem. Participation in organised events around the local community goes a long way to improving the quality of life for all people. Group and centre-based activities are designed to improve social contact, develop skills and lead a more fulfilling life.

Events vary according to location. They may include:

Depending on the need of each individual the NDIS can fund transport to social events and help with tuition fees. Some activities have practical applications for education and employment. Consult with us about activities that interest you.
